We spoke with Yassine Abouch, CEO and founder of Digisense Technologies SL, a tech startup launched in 2023. He explains how they are transforming the industrial sector through advanced digitalization, IoT, and artificial intelligence. A project with a global outlook, driven by real and measurable innovation.
1. How did Digisense get started and what inspired the project?
Digisense is the result of over 20 years of experience in IoT, artificial intelligence, and machine vision. Observing the market, I saw a lack of truly complete and accessible solutions that could meet the diverse digitalization needs of today’s companies.
Our mission is to provide a modular and scalable platform that connects industrial systems, collects data, analyses it in real time, and creates actionable value through AI and automation.
2. Which types of companies or sectors benefit most from your services?
We work with both end clients and system integrators. Our solutions are versatile across many industries, but we focus mainly on the industrial sector, particularly industrial integrators, automation engineers, and companies engaged in digital transformation or Smart City initiatives.
3. What are the main challenges you help clients overcome?
Over time, many companies accumulate fragmented, outdated, and hard-to-integrate systems. This often results in large volumes of unstructured data that are costly to maintain and difficult to leverage.
At Digisense, we simplify and unify these complex environments through a comprehensive platform that covers both hardware (sensors, devices) and software (cloud, edge computing, AI processing).
We also help extend the lifecycle of existing industrial equipment, giving old machinery a digital second life through retrofit technologies. This enables integration of non-connected equipment into intelligent ecosystems without requiring full replacement.
The goal is to unlock the true value of data, improve operational visibility, and enable real-time decision-making.
4. What role does innovation play in your everyday work?
In such a dynamic sector, innovation isn’t just about following trends; it requires clear vision, continuous tech monitoring, and the ability to leverage every advancement.
Although Digisense is a young startup, it’s built on years of hands-on experience and deep strategic thinking.
We invest in R&D, participate in international innovation events (US, China, Germany, etc.), and organize innovation camps to stay aligned with the latest global best practices and emerging technologies.
5. Which project stands out for its impact or added value?
One of our flagship projects was deploying a SaaS platform combining AI, IoT, and machine vision on an industrial production line.
This “Physical AI” solution helped the client reduce cycle times by over 4 minutes per unit, boosting productivity by 15%; all without increasing operational resources. That’s the kind of tangible impact we strive to deliver.
6. From your experience, how do you see data usage evolving in business decision-making?
Data is set to radically change how companies make decisions.
Real-time processing, source triangulation, and AI integration already allow partial automation of operational decisions. In the coming years, data will become the strategic core of every organization.
From collection through storage, analysis, and visualization, the data value chain is no longer optional, it’s a fundamental pillar for any company aiming to lead its sector.
7. What has your experience at CINC brought to Digisense?
Since Digisense was founded, CINC has been a key partner. We’ve found a professional and inspiring environment, services tailored to tech startups, a strategically located office that boosts our visibility, and a dynamic ecosystem fostering new opportunities.
Their support has been essential in helping us structure and accelerate our early growth.
